Arima Onsen, one of Japan's three great ancient hot springs and three famous springs, is connected to the Rokko Mountain National Park, with a cable car ride of about 12 minutes. In spring, you can enjoy cherry blossoms; in summer, fresh greenery; in autumn, colorful leaves; and in winter, snowy landscapes. The dynamic scenery that changes with the seasons can only be seen from the cable car, making it very popular. The autumn foliage, in particular, is stunning, with the yellow beech trees near the top of Mount Rokko gradually turning to the crimson of maple leaves as you approach Arima Onsen, allowing for beautiful views of the autumn colors. In March 2020, a new gondola manufactured by Swiss company CWA was introduced. With large glass windows in the cabin, visitors can experience the magnificent natural scenery up close, receiving high praise from tourists. On Mount Rokko, there is Japan's largest athletic facility, "Rokko Mountain ATHLETIC PARK GREENIA," as well as many other attractions worth seeing, including the breathtaking night view rated at ten million dollars, "Rokko Garden Terrace," and the "Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden." It is also very convenient to take the "Rokko Mountain Bus" to the area near the mountaintop.

The cable car connects Mount Rokko and Arima Onsen, with a travel time of about 12 minutes. You can enjoy dynamic natural scenery that can only be seen while riding the cable car. Nighttime extended service will be implemented in August. You can also admire the nature of Mount Rokko through the large glass windows beneath your feet. The cable car allows you to easily explore the two major tourist attractions: Arima Onsen and Mount Rokko.
