The interior features tatami seating, sunken kotatsu tables, and table seating, creating a cozy atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem. The kamameshi (rice cooked in an iron pot) is made with ancient grains such as red rice and black rice, cooked in front of customers, with a deliciously crispy and fragrant crust. There are five flavors to choose from, including the "Gomoku Kamameshi," which includes fresh seafood, chicken, and vegetables, and the "Seasonal Kamameshi," which uses a large amount of seasonal ingredients. The most popular option is the luxurious "Special Kamameshi," filled with a variety of mountain and sea ingredients. All flavors of kamameshi come with miso soup, side dishes, and pickles. In the autumn, there are special meals featuring matsutake mushrooms and a matsutake & domestic beef kaiseki set, while in winter, the grilled crab meal and crab shabu-shabu kaiseki are also very well received. After dining, guests can enjoy matcha in the tea room. The Japanese-style rooms and warehouse can also be used as a guesthouse. Located in the central part of Nara Prefecture, it is perfect for those planning to stay in Nara for several days. Additionally, there are umbrella-making workshops and kimono rental services, allowing guests to enjoy the fun of wearing a kimono while strolling around.
