The restaurant is operated by the local wagashi manufacturer "Wakasa Imo Honpo," which is best known for its "Wakasa Imo," a sweet that recreates the flavor and texture of roasted sweet potatoes using daifuku beans and chopped kelp. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Lake Toya main store, satisfying both dining and shopping needs. The live demonstration area for making "Wakasa Imo" tempura is also quite popular.
