Shinjuku Central Park is located in a bustling commercial area filled with skyscrapers and is the largest urban park in Shinjuku. Highlights of Shinjuku Central Park include a waterside plaza known as "Shinjuku Niagara Falls," as well as a spacious lawn area that serves as a great spot for office workers and tourists to relax. Additionally, during national holidays, various events are held centered around the waterside plaza. The expansive park also features a multifunctional sports plaza. In addition to basketball courts and an athletic track, there is a five-a-side soccer field where visitors can enjoy sports.
