📝 Introduction
Enjoy top-quality sushi paired with wine and sake at a renowned restaurant in Hiroo.
📖 Details
Located in the sophisticated yet serene Hiroo area, this Edomae sushi restaurant opened in 2019. Although it has a relatively short history, it has gained considerable recognition in Hiroo, which is home to many renowned establishments.
The owner, Takahiro Okada, adheres to the Edomae tradition while continuously incorporating innovative elements. He has honed his culinary skills at prestigious restaurants such as "Sushi Yu" in Roppongi and kaiseki restaurants in Shinjuku and Asakusa. The owner personally selects seasonal seafood from Toyosu Market, and insists on using fresh, domestically sourced vegetables, rice, and condiments.
Both lunch and dinner are served as chef's tasting menus, featuring around 10 pieces of nigiri sushi and side dishes. There is also a pairing menu available, where the resident sommelier selects suitable wines and sake from a carefully curated list to complement the day's sushi and side dishes.
Despite being a high-end sushi restaurant, the interior exudes a relaxed atmosphere akin to that of home, primarily featuring a clean, hinoki wood counter seating. Families dining with children above elementary school age can opt for private rooms designed for their use.
