Completed in 1924, it is a dedicated theater for the all-female Takarazuka Revue. Before its 80th anniversary in 1993, it underwent renovations and is now divided into five groups: Hana (花), Tsuki (月), Yuki (雪), Hoshi (星), and Sora (宙), performing throughout the year. The most frequently staged programs are dramas and musical revues, along with original works by the theater troupe, adaptations of manga, films, literature, and overseas musicals, as well as revivals of hit shows, offering a wide variety of performances. With up to 2,550 seats, the theater features a staggered two-tier design that allows every seat to have a clear view of the stage. The shape of the front stage (Ginjiro) between the stage and the seats is designed with gentle curves, enabling even the second-floor seats to see the performers on the Ginjiro. The lighting system incorporates a computer capable of memorizing 1,000 scenes, creating a powerful stage effect accompanied by live orchestral performances.
