🗺️ The Great Naruto Whirlpools Path

📝 Introduction

You can overlook the "Whirlpool" from the glass floor of the seaside walking corridor.

📖 Details

The Uzunomichi is a seaside walkway located beneath the Onaruto Bridge, stretching approximately 450 meters. Visitors can stand 45 meters above sea level and look down through a glass floor at the whirlpools of the Naruto Strait, one of the world's three major tidal currents. The Naruto whirlpools are most spectacular during the spring and autumn tides, reaching diameters of up to 20 meters, and are said to be the largest whirlpools in the world. The times when the whirlpools occur vary each day. To ensure you can see the whirlpools, please check the "Best Tidal Viewing Times" on the official website in advance. Uzunomichi is very close to the nearby tourist attraction, the Onaruto Bridge Memorial Hall, which is just a 3-minute walk away. The memorial hall is a cultural experience facility themed around whirlpools and bridges, where both adults and children can participate in various enjoyable activities. It is recommended to visit the memorial hall when you go to Uzunomichi.
