Tokyo DisneySea is adjacent to Tokyo Disneyland and together they form the Tokyo Disney Resort. The park consists of eight themed ports inspired by ocean stories and legends. The entrance to the park, "Mediterranean Harbor," offers a romantic view of a Southern European port town; next is "American Waterfront," which showcases two port towns from early 20th century America, each with its own charm. There’s also the time-defying "Port Discovery"; "Lost River Delta," themed around an archaeological dig site of ancient civilization from the 1930s; "Arabian Coast," where you can experience the world of "One Thousand and One Nights"; "Mermaid Lagoon," themed after the underwater kingdom from Disney's "The Little Mermaid"; and "Mystic Island," home to the towering Prometheus Volcano, filled with elements of romance, adventure, and imagination. Popular attractions include "Soaring: Fantastic Flight," and the "Toy Story Mania," where you can enjoy shooting games with Woody and Buzz Lightyear, among others. In addition to the attractions, there are fun experiences like the "Mickey and Friends Harbor Greeting," where Mickey and friends wave to guests from a boat, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a full day of entertainment without getting bored. On June 6, 2024, a new themed area called "Fantasy Springs" will open, consisting of three zones: "Frozen Kingdom," "Peter Pan's Neverland," and "Rapunzel's Forest," along with the "Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta."
