About Tokyo Tower (東京タワー)
The red and white tower that is still regarded as a landmark of Tokyo by its people today.
Details
The Tokyo Tower, born in 1958 and standing at 333 meters tall, surpassed the Eiffel Tower in Paris at the time, becoming the world's tallest self-supporting tower. Located in Minato Ward, the center of Tokyo, it offers a panoramic view of the city from its observatory. The tower is continually undergoing renovations and improvements. Major attractions at Tokyo Tower include two observatories: the "Main Deck" (地上150公尺) at 150 meters above ground and the "Top Deck" (地上250公尺) at 250 meters. Whether by day or night, visitors can gaze upon the streets of Tokyo, and on clear days, enjoy stunning views of the "Rainbow Bridge" and "Mount Fuji." The dreamlike illumination show at night is also a must-see highlight. Additionally, at the base of the tower, there is a commercial facility called "FOOT DOWN," where visitors can shop for souvenirs and savor delicious meals, making it a comprehensive entertainment spot to spend an entire day leisurely.
Main Deck: Stand at 150 meters high on the Main Deck to take in the cultural scenery of Tokyo.
Top Deck: From the Top Deck at 250 meters, it feels as if you're holding all of Tokyo in your hands as you look down.
