📖 Details
Kameari Park is a park located near the north exit of JR Kameari Station (you can reach it by walking straight and turning right after exiting). Kameari Park is well-known for being the namesake park featured in the manga "Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen-mae Hashutsujo." It is not only a sacred place for anime fans but also a popular spot for tourists who come to take photos with the two bronze statues of the main character, "Ryotsu." One statue is the "Double Peace Sign Ryotsu Statue," while the other depicts Ryotsu sitting on a bench, which is accompanied by a large sign behind it. This actual park is closely integrated with the community. The park features a giant slide that resembles a monument and a colorful slide that is very eye-catching. Many children often play here, and their lively running around resembles scenes from the manga "Kameari Park." Additionally, the park is lush with greenery, and during spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom, the Somei Yoshino cherry trees in the park create a stunningly beautiful landscape.
