📖 Details

YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN (横浜空中纜車) is an aerial cable car that connects the JR "Sakuragicho" station building with the "Canal Park" station building in the New Port area, spanning approximately 630 meters and reaching a maximum height of about 40 meters, with a one-way travel time of about 5 minutes. YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN is Japan's first and the world's most advanced urban aerial circular cable car, featuring 36 cabins that can accommodate 8 passengers each. The cabins are equipped with air conditioning, various safety monitoring systems, LED lighting, and other cutting-edge features. Regardless of the weather, passengers can move in a comfortable space. Through the cabin windows, you can enjoy beautiful city views representing Yokohama and Minato Mirai, including the large Ferris wheel "Cosmo Clock 21" at "Yokohama Cosmo World" and the "Yokohama Intercontinental Hotel." The cable car not only traverses tourist attractions famous for cherry blossoms, such as "Ooka River," but also offers stunning views of Yokohama's beautiful night scenery from above in the evening. It’s worth mentioning that the cable car cabins are completely covered in glass, allowing for a 360-degree view of the Minato Mirai scenery from the air. From the "Canal Park" station, you can access tourist attractions such as the "Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse," "Yokohama COSMO WORLD," and the "Yokohama Cup Noodles Museum." If you visit Yokohama, it is recommended to take this state-of-the-art aerial cable car, suitable for couples and families alike, to comfortably enjoy the fun of a sky walk in Yokohama. *Photo provided by Izumi Yoko Kogyo Co., Ltd.
