🗺️ Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse

From the Meiji to the Taisho era in Japan, the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (赤煉瓦倉庫) served as a logistics hub and was once the most advanced warehouse in the world. The warehouse consists of two buildings, Building No. 1 and Building No. 2. The exterior of the buildings still maintains the European style of red brick architecture, while the interior has been transformed into a cultural entertainment and shopping facility featuring shops, restaurants, and a multifunctional hall. Building No. 1 includes a ballroom, a theater lobby, and event spaces, as well as branches of long-established Yokohama shops and representative brands of Yokohama. Each floor of Building No. 2 has restaurants, cafes, and shops with different themes. Between Building No. 1 and Building No. 2 is the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Event Square, where a variety of vibrant events are frequently held, including the well-known "Yokohama Beer Festival."

The Red Brick Warehouse Park faces the sea, allowing visitors to sit on the lawn and relax while enjoying the ocean view. Inside the store, you can find representative Yokohama brand goods and popular desserts. There are many excellent photo spots, such as the exterior of the Red Brick Warehouse with the ocean and the Yokohama Bay Bridge in the background, as well as the interior terrace and event plaza. The park features a variety of dining options, led by a food court that houses several restaurants and cafes. At the modern-style restaurant "Motion Blue Yokohama," you can experience the joy of watching live performances by popular musicians in Yokohama, known as the birthplace of jazz.
