Details
Yuda Onsen, located in Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a historic hot spring area. Its name is recorded in the 1200-year-old book "Suō Amida-ji Monjo," suggesting that the hot spring has existed even earlier. According to legend, a fox would soak its feet in a small pond at the village temple every night to heal its wounds, leading to the discovery of the hot spring.
