About Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park
A natural park built on the site of the "Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan."
Details
The expansive Ai-Chikyuhaku Memorial Park (MORICORO PARK) is built on the former site of the 2005 World Expo "Ai-Chikyuhaku" in Nagakute City. The building that was used as a reception hall during the expo has now transformed into the "Ai-Chikyuhaku Memorial Museum," which currently displays over 300 exhibits donated from foreign pavilions, evoking a sense of nostalgia for visitors who attended the World Expo.
The park also features the largest Ferris wheel in the Tokai region, standing at 88 meters tall, offering a panoramic view of the memorial park's beautiful scenery, and pets are welcome to ride along. Additionally, there are well-equipped sports facilities, including bike paths and an ice skating rink. Due to the park's vast area, a free internal bus service is also provided within the park.
