📝 Introduction

Standing in a triangular-shaped facility by the sea, it is filled with a variety of local products that embody the charm of Aomori.

📖 Details

The product hall standing by the coast leaves a strong impression with its design based on the letter "A" from "AOMORI," the English name for 青森. It not only sells famous local products and specialties from Aomori but also features live demonstrations of traditional crafts that Aomori takes pride in. Additionally, there is a 360-degree 3D digital theater that introduces Aomori's festivals and the beauty of its four seasons through immersive imagery, showcasing many thoughtful designs that allow visitors to experience the charm of Aomori firsthand. On the first floor, there is a variety of local products, including sweets made from Aomori's local sake and apples, as well as unique souvenirs. In addition to food, there are traditional crafts such as "津輕塗" (Tsugaru lacquerware) from Hirosaki City, known for its repeated lacquer application, "津輕小巾刺繡" (Tsugaru small towel embroidery), and traditional glasswork "津輕玻璃" (Tsugaru glass), offering a rich array of Aomori's traditional crafts. The second floor is an experiential area. Visitors can enjoy a 360-degree digital theater showcasing the beauty of the Nebuta Festival and the four seasons of Aomori. There is also a demonstration area for creating "津輕小巾刺繡," a traditional craft made by women from the northern regions. Furthermore, from the observation deck on the 13th floor, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the cityscape of Aomori, the Tsugaru Peninsula, and Mutsu Bay from a height of 51 meters above ground.
