About Aoyama Gosho's Hometown Museum
Enjoy the world of Conan that is suitable for all ages!
Details
The memorial hall of Gosho Aoyama, the original creator of the famous manga "Detective Conan," which is published in 25 countries around the world. This place showcases Mr. Aoyama's history from his birth in Hokuei Town, through his childhood and university years, to becoming a manga artist, as well as various materials related to Detective Conan.
Inside the hall, you can find displays about the story of Detective Conan's creation, original manuscripts, the manga production process, and secrets from the creative process. The shop inside, "Conan Detective Agency," sells original merchandise and a wide range of souvenirs that can only be purchased here.
Additionally, there is the "Gosho Aoyama Hometown Hall Master Certification Test," which is very interesting as you can solve puzzles while touring. If you answer all the questions correctly, you can receive a certification. (The testing activity may be suspended depending on the situation.)
The nearby JR "Yura" station is also known as "Conan Station," and the street from the station to the hometown hall, about 1.4 kilometers long, is called "Conan Road." Along Conan Road, there is "Conan's Home, the Mifune Shopping Street," which features cafes, restaurants, and shops related to Conan.
