Chidorigafuchi Greenway is a walking path along the Imperial Palace's moat, stretching about 700 meters. The rich natural scenery makes it hard to imagine being in the heart of Tokyo, making it an excellent place for a leisurely stroll and enjoying the views. Approximately 260 cherry blossom trees are planted along both sides of the pathway, flowering typically from late March to early April. During cherry blossom season, the entire path transforms into a pink world, attracting countless visitors for hanami (flower viewing), and it has become one of Tokyo's representative cherry blossom viewing spots. In addition to walking along the cherry blossom path, the biggest feature of Chidorigafuchi Greenway is the option to rent boats for cherry blossom viewing. There are boat rental services (for a fee), allowing you to enjoy rowing while admiring the cherry blossoms. While leisurely boating amid the sea of cherry blossoms, you can also appreciate the reflections of the cherry blossom trees on the surface of Chidorigafuchi. Additionally, the annual Chiyoda Sakura Matsuri (Chiyoda Cherry Blossom Festival) is held, during which cherry blossom illumination events take place, allowing visitors to enjoy the enchanting beauty of nighttime cherry blossoms, different from the daytime experience.

The cherry blossom season is from late March to early April. The strolling paths filled with natural scenery are perfect for walking. There are romantic night cherry blossom light-up events. You can rent small boats to paddle and enjoy the cherry blossoms.
