About Fuchu City Tourism Information Center
It gathers tourism information for Fuzhong City, with a tourism center staffed by consultants.
Details
The tourism information center located next to the Ōkuninushi Shrine. Inside the facility, there are tourism consultants who are well-versed in the sightseeing spots and ancient sites of Fuchu City, providing services such as introductions to recommended attractions and consultation advice. Although the consultants can only communicate in Japanese, English tourist maps are available, so it’s a good idea to stop by before starting your sightseeing in Fuchu.
The information center not only has tourist maps and brochures that cover sightseeing information in the city but also features a mini exhibition area introducing Fuchu's seasonal customs. In addition, it sells merchandise related to Fuchu's tourism association mascot "Koto-mi-chan," T-shirts for the Ōkuninushi Shrine's annual festival "Kurayami Matsuri," Fuchu Kobu tenugui (hand towels), and various postcards.
Fuchu City also has guided tours regularly organized by the "Tourism Volunteer Association," and detailed information about these activities can also be obtained here.
