Hate Beach is an uninhabited island with only beaches, located about 5 kilometers from Kume Island in Okinawa. The entire island consists of three beaches, named "Maenohama" (前之濱), "Nakanohama" (中之濱), and "Shutanohama" (終端之濱), collectively referred to as "Hate Beach." Stretching from near Kume Island to the distance, it forms a white sandbar approximately 7 kilometers long. The clear, transparent waters surrounding the sandbar contrast beautifully with the white sandy beaches, earning it the title of "the most beautiful beach in the East." It frequently appears on the covers of various magazines and has even featured in "Google" advertisements. At Hate Beach, visitors can enjoy various water activities such as swimming and snorkeling. Since there are no sunshade facilities on the island, it is strongly recommended to use sunscreen to avoid sunburn. Regarding transportation, it is advisable to take a ferry from Kume Island to Hate Beach. Ferry companies typically operate on a reservation basis, so be sure to book in advance.
