Ikebukuro West Exit Park is a 2-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station and is nicknamed "GLOBAL RING." The park features a large LED screen measuring 11 meters wide and 3 meters high, as well as an outdoor stage called "GLOBAL RING THEATRE," which can be used for various performances including classical music concerts, dance, and theater.
The large screen and sound system play immersive music, complemented by five circular LED light installations and original performance programs that are synchronized with the fountain in the center of the square, creating a healing and relaxing space that captivates visitors. This park serves as a cultural hub for Ikebukuro West Exit to share its culture with the world and is also a gathering place for locals, playing an important role as an information dissemination point during disasters.
