Inugami Kijitsukuri no Yashiro (Shingen-ji) is a temple dedicated to the Buddhist protective goddess "Kijitsukuri no Kami," who blesses mothers and children. It is also one of the temples in the "Shitaya Seven Lucky Gods," worshiping the "Fukurokuju" trio, who ensure the safe growth of children and bring prosperity to people. Every year, from July 6 to 8, it hosts the famous "Inugami Morning Glory Festival." The festival is a summer event filled with Edo-period charm. During the festival, around 60 vendors selling morning glories and about 100 stalls line the paths of Inugami Kijitsukuri no Yashiro (Shingen-ji) and the Kameidojinja Shrine road, attracting over 400,000 visitors each year.

It is said that the legend is highly effective in blessing safe deliveries and parenting. It is one of the "下谷七福神" (Shitaya Seven Lucky Gods) composed of seven temples. The "入谷牽牛花節" (Nurikawa Morning Glory Festival) is held every year on July 6th, 7th, and 8th.
