🗺️ Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort石打丸山スキー場

Founded over 70 years ago, it covers a total area of 236 hectares and is one of the largest established ski resorts in the Kanto region, beloved by both snowboarders and skiers for many years. Utilizing the local terrain, it has created 23 uniquely characterized ski trails, allowing visitors to enjoy skiing against the backdrop of the distinctive South Uonuma Plain and the panoramic views of the Echigo Mountains. Due to its vast area, all 14 lifts operate throughout the ski season. Recently, the state-of-the-art hybrid lift "Sunrise Express" has been installed, capable of simultaneously transporting a large number of skiers, beginners, and those simply wishing to enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains. It emphasizes a comfortable riding experience, with minimal sensation of movement, akin to first-class quality. Additionally, the night skiing area is the largest in the country, featuring the longest trail of 3,000 meters and 12 ski runs. Under high-intensity lighting, the uneven terrain that is difficult to discern at night becomes clear. The nighttime temperatures are lower than during the day, resulting in better snow conditions.
