Located within the "Sengan-en" park, you can see the World Heritage Site "Reflecting Furnace Ruins" at a glance through the windows. The exhibition features models and information that introduce the history of modernization in Japan, originating from Satsuma (now Kagoshima), as well as an overview of the World Heritage Site and the Integrated Hall project. In the center of the museum, there is a large-scale model of the reflecting furnace at a 1/10 scale. It intricately recreates the towering chimney and the refractory bricks that were once used, allowing visitors to compare it with the actual reflecting furnace ruins while experiencing the atmosphere of the past, which is very popular. Additionally, some parts of the model have cross-sections, clearly showing the internal structure. There is also a video corner that explains the details of the reflecting furnace through computer animation, helping visitors understand why it was registered as a World Heritage Site. The learning space houses books related to the World Heritage Site, which can be borrowed for free. Let's learn in this tranquil space, which won the Good Design Award in 2021.

There is information related to the "Jitsugenkai" reflection furnace, a site of Japan's modernization. In the center of the museum, there is a 1/10 scale model that recreates the reflection furnace. The learning space houses books related to World Heritage.
