Kanda Shrine has a long history and is said to be particularly effective in bringing good relationships, ensuring business success, and dispelling misfortune. The shrine is located in Kanda, Tokyo, which is a business district, so every New Year's, many office workers come here for their first shrine visit (Hatsumode) to pray for smooth work and career advancement. The shrine is also a pilgrimage site for anime fans, where they can purchase various anime-related ema (絵馬) and amulets (御守). The Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center "EDOCCO" is a facility where visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture. During the "Kanda Matsuri" festival, which is held every two years, thousands of parade groups fill the streets of Tokyo, creating a lively and joyful festive atmosphere everywhere.
