🍜 Kawamura Farm Café

Kawamura Farm, located in the Miho area of Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, primarily grows tomatoes, melons, edamame, and other fruits and vegetables in greenhouses. At the café run by the current 12th-generation owners, you can enjoy dishes made from freshly harvested vegetables and fruits from the farm. The current shop moved to its present location in 2016. It features an organic space made with a lot of wood, where the tables and chairs are handcrafted by the owners. The agricultural products grown in the well-drained soil of Miho have a notably high sweetness. The juice and smoothies made from tomatoes have the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, offering an excellent taste that even those who are not fond of tomatoes rave about. The vegetable-packed Italian vegetable soup paired with pizza toast is quite popular for lunch. The popular buffet offers seasonal flavors such as strawberries, musk melons, Shine Muscat grapes, and oranges. In particular, the musk melon buffet features an abundance of ripe melons, with portions so generous that they nearly overflow from the glass. Such hearty servings can only be found at a melon farm. The shop also sells freshly harvested cherry tomatoes and melons among other fruits and vegetables.

The café in the Miho area has been directly operated by the same farm for 12 generations. It offers juices and milkshakes made from tomatoes, among other items. The buffet featuring seasonal fruits is also very popular. The interior is filled with a warm, organic atmosphere created by wooden elements.
