🗺️ Kinjitsu Creative Forest金津創作の森

In the vast, lush grounds, there are art museums, glass workshops, creative studios, as well as art-related shops and restaurants. Many artists from various regions of Japan have set up studios here as their activity base. The art museum regularly hosts planned exhibitions, and visitors can participate in pottery, glass crafting, and bamboo processing experiences in the workshops. The pottery experience includes hand-sculpting bowls or plates, as well as options for painting or using an electric potter's wheel, allowing participants to choose their preferred activities. The glass experience offers glass blowing, a technique using steam to expand glass, and the opportunity to engrave designs on glass cups to create unique sandblasted works. Additionally, within the approximately 20-hectare area, more than a dozen sculptures and three-dimensional artworks are displayed, allowing visitors to enjoy art while strolling through the forest. One can leisurely immerse themselves in the world of art while listening to the soft chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves.
