About Kiso Sansen Park Center (Kiso Sansen Park)

A striking observation tower, this park is popular for its seasonal floral displays and winter light festivals.

Details

The Kiso Sansen National Park spans Aichi, Mie, and Gifu prefectures, making it the largest national park in Japan. It consists of 13 parks, with the "Kiso Sansen Park Center" being one of its main parks. The park's landmark is a 65-meter tall observation tower. From the observation tower, visitors can enjoy the magnificent views of the Kiso Three Rivers (Kiso River, Nagara River, Ibi River) and the unique water town scenery of the surrounding area. Inside the observation tower is the "Water and Green Hall," which introduces the history, climate, and nature of the Kiso River basin through a variety of displays and videos in an easy-to-understand manner. It is worth visiting. In addition, the park features large gardens where seasonal flowers such as tulips in spring and cosmos in autumn bloom vibrantly, a spacious lawn area perfect for leisurely moments with various large playground equipment loved by children, and the "Wachū Farmhouse," which recreates early local farmhouses, making it suitable for travelers of all ages. Starting with the "Tulip Festival," various rich activities are held throughout the seasons. The winter illumination events, in particular, are exceptionally lively, with a different theme each year, creating a grand and dreamy world of light and shadow.

Highlights
