Koiwai Farm is a large-scale comprehensive farm located at the foot of Mount Iwate, spanning the towns of Shizukuishi and Takizawa. It engages in various businesses including dairy farming, forestry, food production, and tourism. On its 3,000 hectares of land, approximately 2,200 dairy cows are raised, producing rich and high-quality raw milk, along with a variety of proprietary brand products such as butter, cheese, and yogurt. The "Farm Park," which is open to tourists, is located in the central area of the farm and covers about 40 hectares. Visitors can participate in various experiential activities amidst the lush nature in front of Mount Iwate. One of the most popular activities is the "Tractor Sightseeing Tour," where guests can ride on a tractor, enjoy the breeze, and admire the forests, grasslands, and the iconic tree-lined path of the farm.
