🗺️ Koyama Park

📝 Introduction

Enjoy the beautiful flowers, grasses, and trees of the four seasons at "Hakone Mountain," the highest point along the Yamanote Line.

📖 Details

Located in Shinjuku, Toyama Park is divided into two main sections. One part is the Hakone-yama area, centered around "Hakone-yama," the highest point along the Yamanote Line, while the other part is the Okubo area, separated by Meiji Avenue. Although Hakone-yama has an elevation of only 44.6 meters, it is the highest peak within the Yamanote Line. Climbing to the summit not only offers a view of the park's scenery but also a panoramic view of Shinjuku's skyscrapers. Additionally, many Somei Yoshino cherry trees are planted around Hakone-yama, making it a popular cherry blossom viewing spot when spring arrives, attracting large crowds. The surrounding Okubo area features the Shinjuku Sports Center and a lawn plaza, making it a great place for sports and leisure activities.
