🗺️ Matsumoto Castle松本城

Matsumoto Castle was constructed between 1593 and 1594 and is currently the oldest existing five-story six-floor tenshu (keep) castle in Japan, designated as a national treasure. (Note: A five-story six-floor castle refers to a structure that appears to have five floors externally but has six floors internally.) The castle's striking white walls and black skirt boards create a vivid color contrast, enhancing the overall grandeur and majesty of the structure.
