The outlet shopping center boasts a prime location with views of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge and Awaji Island. Conceptualized as "MARINE PIA RESORT," it will undergo a grand renovation and open in November 2024. The area will expand to 99,400 square meters, 1.3 times the original size. Over 150 stores will be present, featuring a wide range of shops including fashion apparel, sports goods, outdoor equipment, and lifestyle products, along with brands making their debut in Japan and at the Kansai Outlet. The entire facility is an indoor shopping mall, allowing for enjoyable shopping without being affected by the weather. The first floor features a food market filled with cafes and restaurants, while the second floor offers an open food area with views of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge, providing numerous dining options. Additionally, the outdoor area "LAGOON COMMUNITY PARK" includes a large barbecue area called "LAGOON BBQ CLUB" and a dessert bakery restaurant "LAGOON TOOTH TOOTH," where diners can enjoy close-up views of the Kobe seascape. There is also a garden and the "BE KOBE" installation art for photo opportunities, along with ample children's play facilities, ensuring both adults and children can enjoy a full day of exploration.
