Located at an altitude of 1454 meters, the Moriyoshi Ski Resort is known for its abundant snowfall and high-quality powder snow. You can take a gondola to the summit station at about 1200 meters and enjoy the fun of skiing all the way down to the base. There are three ski trails suitable for beginners. The "Easy Ski Trail," which can be accessed via a chairlift, has an average slope of 6 degrees, making it the gentlest of all the trails. Additionally, the "Sunshine Ski Trail" and the "Paradise Ski Trail," which has a total length of 2800 meters, allow skiers to enjoy the stunning tree ice scenery, which is one of the "Three Great Tree Ices of Japan," alongside Zao, while skiing. For intermediate skiers, the "Challenging Ski Trail" near the summit is recommended. It features off-piste trails that skiers dream of, as well as varied designs with bumps and other changes that are quite appealing. There is also the more difficult and technical "Moon Ring Ski Trail," which is worth the challenge. During the ski season, the Moriyoshi Ski Resort offers lessons for both alpine skiing and snowboarding, making it easy for first-time skiers to get the hang of it in a short time.
