About Nagasaki BIO PARK
Lemurs, meerkats, and capybaras are the stars here! Learn about the coexistence of humans and animals through an almost wild ecological display.
Details
Introducing an ecological display that brings visitors closer to the wild environments where animals live in their natural state, allowing for observation of their free and unrestrained lives. Unlike traditional zoos where one can only view animals from behind bars, this experience allows guests to step into the animals' habitats, sharing a part of their lives and learning about the coexistence of humans and animals.
Visitors can interact with and touch animal stars such as lemurs, meerkats, capybaras, and even larger animals like the Malayan tapir. There are various experiences available, including feeding red storks and watching caretakers feed hippos whole watermelons, making mealtime for the animals full of fun and excitement.
Additionally, from April to October each year, there is a crayfish-catching experience by the Andes pond in the park. Furthermore, seasonal harvest experiences such as strawberry picking and sweet potato digging add to the excitement. This allows visitors to engage not just visually, but through play, learning, and interaction, to feel the unique surprises and emotions that BIO PARK has to offer.
