About Nasu Teddy Bear Museum
Find your favorite teddy bear! A healing space surrounded by adorable teddy bears.
Details
The Nasu Teddy Bear Museum is one of the must-visit attractions when exploring the Nasu Highlands. Nestled within a lush garden, the red-brick building houses a collection that starts with works created by popular authors and features teddy bears from around the world. Among them are historically significant high-value teddy bears, such as those made by the German company Steiff in 1910 and the British company Chad Valley in 1940.
You can find unique teddy bears inspired by the massive heads of four American presidents carved into Mount Rushmore in the United States, as well as teddy bears designed based on Louisa May Alcott's classic work "Little Women." Take your time to discover your favorite piece among the many teddy bears on display.
After visiting the adorable teddy bears, it's recommended to relax at the British-style café "Teddy Garden." Here, you can enjoy desserts and drinks designed in the shape of teddy bears. There are also terrace seats available, allowing you to gaze at the garden and enjoy a leisurely moment if the weather is nice.
Finally, don't forget to check out the museum's souvenir shop. You can purchase a variety of specially made teddy bears, goods, and original items as mementos of your visit to the museum.
Highlights
You can see teddy bears from all over the world. Enjoy your coffee time while gazing at the garden scenery that evokes thoughts of an English garden. The garden features many statues, large teddy bears, and various photo spots, and all locations inside the venue are available for photography.
