📜 Content

Oshino Hakkai is located at the foot of Mount Fuji. The term "Hakkai" refers to a total of eight spring water pools, all sourced from the melted snow and rainwater of Mount Fuji. These eight springs, formed above dried-up lakes, are called "Ikeguchi Pond," "Okama Pond," "Sunanuki Pond," "Choshi Pond," "Yuguchi Pond," "Nigorikawa Pond," "Kagami Pond," and "Shobu Pond." The water source of Oshino Hakkai is clear spring water that has been filtered through underground lava layers for over 20 years, resulting in high transparency of the pond water. The combination of Mount Fuji and the shimmering pond water creates breathtaking natural scenery, attracting many visitors each year.
