A breathtaking spot is about a 15-minute walk from "Hakuba" Station in Nagano Prefecture. You can enjoy a view of the clear waters of the Hime River, the suspension bridge, and the towering Hakuba mountains across the way. To fully appreciate this beautiful scenery, it is recommended to head to the observation terrace and viewpoint within the park. In spring, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the observation terrace is a great place to enjoy the blossoms up close. In spring, you can admire the contrast between the remaining snow on the Hakuba mountains and the cherry blossoms; in summer, the lush greenery of the mountains is a sight to behold; autumn's colorful foliage and winter's silver-white world are also not to be missed. Each season offers its own captivating scenery, making it a place you can visit repeatedly without getting tired of it. Additionally, near the park's landmark "Oide Suspension Bridge," there is a "Suspension Bridge Teahouse" that sells light snacks and local products, as well as a café converted from a century-old traditional house, which operates only during specific periods. Moreover, there is a small cabin-style café near the viewpoint that operates on weekends, providing a perfect spot to take a break while enjoying the stunning views.
