About Pastoral Village
A theme park filled with healing vibes, adorned with flowers and cute animals across the plateau.
Details
Gifu Prefecture's Bokka no Sato is located at an elevation of 1000m on the slopes of Mount Dainichidake, in the Hiruno Plateau. Here, flowers bloom in every season, and visitors can have close encounters with many adorable animals, making it a popular spot for flower viewing and family outings.
In the vast flower fields, tulips and lavender compete to bloom, offering beautiful scenery throughout the year. Visitors can interact closely with cute animals such as sheep, alpacas, and rabbits, and enjoy fun outdoor activities like milking the Jersey cow "Anko-chan" (Japanese: あんこちゃん) and horseback riding.
Additionally, hands-on experiences like making bread, pizza, and pressed flowers are very popular. There are also many agricultural activities, such as harvesting seasonal vegetables. The park features restaurants and cafes where guests can savor a variety of delicious dishes made with locally sourced ingredients from the Mino and Hida regions.
