Kagoshima Prefecture ranks first in Japan for eel farming, with Shibushi City contributing over 50% of the production, making it the top eel-producing area in Kagoshima Prefecture. The eels farmed in Shibushi City, which has rich mineral groundwater, have almost no fishy smell and a rich flavor. This commercial facility promotes itself with the slogan "The Starting Station for Delicious Eel." The restaurant offers organic eel dishes, including eel rice three ways and eel donburi, allowing customers to enjoy a variety of carefully prepared grilled eel dishes. Additionally, there are udon dishes made with homemade noodles. Next to it, the direct sales outlet sells products made from eels raised without medication, including vacuum-packed grilled eel and eel gift boxes. There are also handmade eel bento boxes from the restaurant, affordable daily special bento boxes, and various ready-to-eat foods.
