Details
Sokoza Aviation Memorial Park features a spacious lawn area, a playground with many recreational facilities, an outdoor barbecue area, and basketball courts, making it a great park to enjoy with friends and family. On the other side of the park is the "Sokoza Aviation Birth Memorial Museum," built to commemorate the establishment of Japan's first airport in Sokoza. Inside the museum, there are many exhibits including fighter jets, helicopters, and other aircraft, as well as a flight simulator where visitors can experience piloting an airplane. Additionally, there is a large cinema where you can watch films about the development of aviation on a big screen. Notably, visitors can experience a new sensation of floating in space through a zero-gravity device called "Space Walker."

Open year-round. *Facilities with barriers will be closed on December 31, January 1, and on maintenance days (irregular). *The Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Museum is closed on Mondays (if it falls on a national holiday, it will be closed the following day). *There may be temporary closure days.
