The three islands of Kuroshima, Nakashima, and Tanshima float near Maejima, just outside the sea of Ushimado in Setouchi City. Connecting these three small islands is an 800-meter sandy path known as the "Kuroshima Venus Road," which is a stunning sight that only appears during low tide when the tidal difference is significant. This arched road, hidden during high tide and visible only at low tide, is filled with a romantic mystery. It is recognized as a "sacred place for lovers" by Ushimado and is also a well-known spot for romantic energy on Kuroshima. Nakashima features a heart-shaped stone known as the "Heart of the Goddess," which is said to grant wishes if you touch it and make a sincere request. Ushimado is also selected as one of the "One Hundred Sunset Views of Japan," where you can enjoy the Seto Inland Sea bathed in orange-red hues at sunset. On Maejima, in addition to enjoying the beautiful views of the Seto Inland Sea from the "Maejima Observation Deck," you can also rent bicycles to tour the island and participate in sea kayaking activities. It is not possible to walk from the main island to the small islands; please take the shuttle boat from Limani Hotel, go sea kayaking, or charter a boat (reservation required).

The management area of Okayama Prefecture's Youth Island (Kuroshima), including facilities like the multipurpose plaza and warehouses, is off-limits without permission. You must apply separately for usage permission from Okayama Prefecture. The pier is privately owned and cannot be used without consent.
