The Tokyo German Village, designed with the theme of German pastoral scenery, opened in 2001 in Sodegaura City, Chiba Prefecture. Covering an area equivalent to 19 Tokyo Domes, it is based on the concept of "coexistence of nature and humanity," and is divided into four zones: "Lake Zone," "Village Zone," "Market Zone," and "Park Zone." Visitors can drive directly into the park and enjoy a tour within, making it very convenient. Inside Tokyo German Village, there are numerous attractions suitable for both adults and children, including a petting zoo where you can interact with small animals, as well as opportunities to harvest oranges, potatoes, and peanuts. You can also enjoy playing golf on a spacious lawn. The park features several gardens, such as the Rose Garden, European Garden, and Color Hill, where seasonal flowers like roses, moss phlox, poppies, lilies, cockscomb, hydrangeas, and more bloom beautifully throughout the year. Furthermore, Tokyo German Village is also a highly renowned winter illumination spot, selected as one of the "Three Major Illuminations in Kanto." Each year, different themed lighting events transform the park into a dreamlike wonderland, captivating visiting guests.
