In the magnificent nature of the Northern Alps, you can enjoy different activities in the mountain resort throughout the four seasons. In winter, experience the ultimate powder snow at Japan's largest ski resort. The ski area features 10 slopes, including the wide and flat "Kane-no-Mori Ski Slope," steep slopes with a maximum gradient of 32 degrees, and the bumpy "Uma-no-Seki Ski Slope," catering to both beginners and advanced skiers, with the longest run reaching 5,000 meters. Beyond the slopes, facilities are abundant, including the family-friendly snow play area "SNOW WOW!" and "Tsugaike Yokochō," which offers a variety of delicious food and foot baths. The "Tsugaike Snow Wall" at an altitude of 1,500 meters is also a highly regarded scenic spot. This attraction, carved into the snowy mountains, features the "Snow Wall Route" with snow walls reaching up to 3 meters high and the "Forest Route," which connects snow-covered forests with the snow walls.
In summer, there are various outdoor activities that allow for an in-depth exploration of the breathtaking scenery of the Northern Alps. You can take in the views from above on the Tsugaike gondola "Eve" and the "Tsugaike Sky Gondola," enjoy a leisurely stroll through the alpine wetlands rich in high-altitude flora at the "Tsugaike Nature Garden," and experience new activities at "Hakuba Tsugaike WOW!"
