🍜 Yamato-ya Honten Foot Bath Café "Futohoto"

📝 Introduction

The collaboration between a long-established inn and a popular café to create "Foot Bath" x "Café."

📖 Details

Founded in 1868 during the 4th year of the Keio era, the long-established ryokan "Daiwa-ya Honten" at Dogo Onsen has partnered with the popular café "Dogo Machiya" located on the Dogo HAIKARA Street to open the "Foot Bath Café" in 2021. Here, you can enjoy a delightful time soaking your feet while savoring coffee and desserts. The café is located within the premises of Daiwa-ya Honten. After entering through a dedicated entrance, guests can first select their food (with a minimum order of one beverage). After payment, you will receive a special "Yuban" containing a towel and a disinfectant spray bottle. The space is divided into six areas, where you can soak your feet while seated. Since it is an outdoor area with a roof, you can enjoy the foot bath amidst the outdoor scenery while tasting beverages like Ehime citrus juice or desserts such as cheesecake. Located next to the main Dogo Onsen, it is a great choice for a break after strolling around the hot springs. If you’re feeling tired, why not relax here with a foot bath and enjoy some coffee time?
