About Yokohama International Peace Conference Center
With its elegant and unique appearance, it is the largest MICE facility in Japan.
Details
The Yokohama International Peace Conference Center was inaugurated in 1991 and is Japan's largest MICE facility. Inside the facility, there are restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and more.
The exterior design is beautiful and unique, making it a landmark in Yokohama. Each hall is designed with a theme related to the bay. The National Grand Hall has a "shell" theme, the conference center is based on the concept of "light," the exhibition hall represents "waves," the northern area is themed around the "coast," and the hotel draws inspiration from the "sails" of a sailboat.
On sunny days, it is perfect for a leisurely stroll in the outdoor area of "Rinkō Park." Rinkō Park is the largest green space in the Minato Mirai area, featuring a grassy plaza, tidal pools, an arch bridge for viewing the night skyline of skyscrapers, and artistic installations, creating a space for families to enjoy their leisure time.
Highlights
Exhibition Hall A features a "Gachapon Urban Planning" capsule toy machine, which contains exquisite capsule toys modeled after the various facilities of the Yokohama International Peace Conference Center. The exhibition hall is equipped with a nursery room for infants and a fixed personal breastfeeding room. The view from the waterfront park is excellent, offering a distant view of the Yokohama Bay Bridge and the port scenery, making it a popular photo spot.
