Since Commodore Perry's arrival 170 years ago, Yokosuka Port has developed into a military port. The "YOKOSUKA Military Port Cruise" is a tour that allows visitors to view the ships docked at Yokosuka Port from the sea. Every day, cruise boats circle around the U.S. Navy's 7th Fleet base at Yokosuka Port, as well as the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force headquarters at Nagai Port, providing close-up views of various vessels from the water.
