📝 Introduction

A place to relax while enjoying seafood BBQ with a view of the Kurushima Kaikyō Bridge.

📖 Details

The Yoshiumi Ikiiki-kan, located at the foot of the Kurushima-Kaikyō Bridge, serves as a rest stop along the Shimanami Kaido. Here, visitors can enjoy the magnificent views of the Kurushima Strait while savoring seafood dishes grilled over a shichirin charcoal grill. Guests can select fresh, lively fish and shellfish from a tank filled with live seafood, which they can then grill and enjoy. The seafood, raised in the harsh currents of the Kurushima Strait, has a firm and resilient texture, making it exceptionally delicious. In addition to grilling, seafood can also be prepared as sashimi. The BBQ menu offers individual items as well as value sets, and ingredients such as meat and vegetables are also available. In winter, guests can indulge in plump and delicious oysters. *Seafood prices are market prices and may vary by season. The restaurant uses the freshest seafood and other local ingredients, offering a wide variety of dishes for guests to choose from. Among them, the sashimi and tai rice made with the local specialty "Kurushima Tai" are highly recommended. Every Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday, the facility hosts live cooking and sales of the local dish "Jako Ten" (じゃこ天).
