A theme park built in the hilly area. Families can enjoy nature here and have a full day of fun.
Details
Children's Kingdom was established in 1965, spanning across Aoba Ward in Yokohama City and Machida City in Tokyo, covering an area of 1 million square meters. It is a large amusement park that fully utilizes the natural scenery of the Tama Hills. The park features a ranch, a small zoo, a swimming pool, and an ice skating rink, as well as facilities like bike riding paths and a sports arena. There is also Swan Lake, which is about 1 meter deep, where visitors can enjoy boating and appreciate the diverse natural scenery throughout the seasons, as well as observe the natural ecology of wild birds. Additionally, there are restaurants and shops, along with a barbecue area that requires prior reservation.
Highlights
Both adults and children can enjoy themselves in the vast 1 million square meters of nature. There are various recreational facilities, including a large maze and a 115-meter-long roller slide. The ice cream made from fresh milk from the ranch is very popular. Visitors can get up close and personal with various small animals.
