Ikuta Shrine is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the central Kobe stations of "Sannomiya Station" and "Motomachi Station." In addition to locals, it also attracts many tourists from overseas who come to worship. The name "Ikuta" originally was "Ikuta" (活田). Over the long years, despite suffering severe damage from natural disasters and wars, it has been rebuilt and revitalized each time, earning the title of "God of Vitality." After your visit, it is recommended to try the "Mizuzumi Omikuji" (水占靈籤) located behind the main hall in "Ikuta no Mori."
