The JR Tower in Sapporo is a complex facility directly connected to JR "Sapporo" Station. The observation room on the top floor, the 38th floor, is called "JR Tower Observation Room T38." From the tower, which stands 160 meters above the ground, you can gaze north at the Ishikari Port New Port, west at Mount Teine, and to the south, you can see the orderly grid of Sapporo's city center and the Sapporo Dome. Moving to the east, you can enjoy views of the Ishikari River, the Nopporo Forest, Mount Yubari, and Mount Rishiri, showcasing the beauty of nature. The ability to enjoy different landscapes in a 360° view is one of its most attractive highlights. Additionally, the observation room features a café and a souvenir shop, making it a great choice for relaxation during your journey. Here, you can purchase railway-related merchandise, and there is also a shop called "Sapporo Style," where you can find products officially certified by the city of Sapporo. Moreover, the men's restroom on the northeast side is quite unique. Designed by architect Junko Kobayashi, who has created numerous famous restrooms, it features a landscape restroom concept based on "the ultimate sense of liberation." The restroom, fully lined with glass, is exclusive to men but has become a popular topic of discussion.

From the observation room located on the 38th floor of the JR Tower, you can enjoy unique views from the east, west, south, and north.
