Details
"合羽橋道具街" (Kappabashi Dougu Street) is a shopping street located between the Asakusa and Ueno districts in Tokyo, stretching about 800 meters from north to south. It features over 170 shops related to "food and dining," making it one of the few specialized kitchenware shopping streets in Japan. Here, you can find a wide variety of cookware and tableware, as well as products like restaurant signs.
Every October, the street hosts a grand event called the "合羽橋烹飪道具街炊具祭" (Kappabashi Cooking Tools Festival), during which there are discounted auctions and lottery events. Outside of the event period, most shops are open from Monday to Saturday, while Sunday is a holiday. The majority of the stores operate from 10 AM to 5 PM.
